![]() It's a total waste of time and a pain in the ass to submit bugs to Apple. ![]() ![]() Years or months later after submitting a bug that happens not to be closed as duplicate of another bug, they get closed because a new version of macOS is released, and you are encouraged to resubmit your report if it still affects the new version, which inevitably it does.Įven if the bug is in some open source component, and you provide a patch, it is ignored and eventually closed as explained above. The bugs are never fixed, at least no bug that I have ever reported has been fixed. The bugs are almost always closed as duplicate of another bug, which, of course, you can't see because the bug tracker is private. Sometimes this happens even if they asked you to try the beta version! When you try to reproduce the bug on multiple versions, they close your bug if you reproduced it on beta versions, because beta versions are unsupported, even though the bug affects release versions. They take forever to answer, and ask for things that you have already provided in your original issue. I can’t recall whether Activity Monitor has any historical/time-series views built in? If it does, then if you hide Activity Monitor with those active, it should keep using CPU, to gather the data for that view, whether it’s rendering it or not. This might be down to Activity Monitor being written to respond to a message letting it know that its view is entirely obscured, and the Activity Monitor main-window view-controller deciding in response that there’s no point in it polling the system if all it’s going to do when re-visible is discard all the stuff it learned in the mean time and re-poll again to get the newest data for the view. > It does for me, which is why I keep it hidden when I’m not actively using it. (They might have a lower update rate, though.) I believe it’s just using the same call into the compositor that Mission Control uses to display your windows and spaces. It's been around for a bit, development is continuous and it freaking WORKS! Further, if you buy the iOS version for a measly $4.99, there is no setup!!!! Literally! No tweaking individual accounts, settings or signatures! The app pulls all that in from iCloud!!! While I don't see the super necessary feature of templated snippets, I have submitted the feature request and am hopeful it will be implemented soon.Nah, it updates (.as far as I can recall.) Try opening a chat client, minimizing the chat window, and then sending a message from another device to yourself. $40!!! I opted for Canary for a few reasons. That said, everyday use with six email accounts (multiple lines of business) became as I said earlier slow, boring, cumbersome and I'll even add on, seriously problematic. The current beta of Airmail 1.4 (241) has built-in support for SpamSieve. Even have placeholders that are customizable on the fly. Slow, boring and cumbersome, I still put up with it because of the templated snippets or "Responses", as they are called within PostBox, that allowed for repeated use. LifeUnleashed's Experience I've been using PostBox for years. You can have a gmail account, but use their app(s). So from my experience, if you are in Tim Cook's hermit kingdom, just use their products if available. I'm not a Tim Cook fan, I think Apple succeeds despite him not because of him, I am not a fanboy, BUT it's hard to go past the. ![]() 2-way pagers can receive up to 500 characters from this website and up to 20,000. Character Limits: 1-way alpha pagers can receive up to 240 characters. If SpamSieve is enabled in Airmail, it will automatically l Popular. Some may think it's ugly, that is purely a personal preference and subjective, I don't. SpamSieve is a powerful Bayesian-based spam filter for filtering out the vast volumes of email space that plague users. A colleague said just use the mail app, it works and is secure (by comparison) AND your mail is local, available on iPhone and iPad and plays well with Apple hardware. Macintosh HD > Users > YOU > Documents > Microsoft User Data > Outlook Script Menu Items > SpamSieve Set Category.scpt. It should be in the Outlook Script Menu Items folder. Click on the Script button and select the SpamSieve Set Category.scpt file. I don't think they 'got in', but they were certainly piggy backing of my email address. Do the following: Select Run AppleScript. Recently I was invaded by one or more Russians (I assume Russian, addressees of svetlana and ivan and cyrillic alphabet) using my gmail address to relay a gazillion emails. I've tried most of the other clients and always came back. Kevin Black's Experience I was using the Gmail web app (I had it wrapped up using fluid so it looked like a simple app).
